The threaded outside Model T Ford front wheel bearings are in short supply and expensive. This Adaptor lets you use a less costly bearing. The adaptor also solves the problem of the bearing locking up when the car is towed backwards. Screw the threaded insert on axel.9”. Run down the 8-32x1/8” set screw to prevent insert from rotating. Install bearing, wheel, washer, (with inside tab) wheel nut and cotter key, (not to tight and not to loose.)
